 "Culturally Christian, Spiritually Unlimited"

 West Sound Unity Church
Mission Statement

West Sound Unity is a positive, practical, progressive approach to Christianity based on the teachings of Jesus and the power of prayer. Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and respects each individual’s right to choose a spiritual path.

West Sound Unity is a prospering center of God’s spiritual activity. We accept the abundance of God flowing to and through us, and we share it with our community. As we prosper, we flourish in our sharing of the knowledge of God’s Love and Peace. We are powerful as a church community to attract our good! Thank you, God!

Adventures in Shamanic Consciousness

Opportunities to explore the other side of your consciousness

with Leon Sproule

Friday, March 12, 2010, 7pm.   Join us for an introduction to Non-ordinary Reality. The places in your mind normally accessed only through dreaming or meditation are available through drumming and singing. Bring drums and rattles, if you have them, and your willing body and curious mind.  Love offering.

Saturday, March 13, 2010, 9am—5pm

Learn the fundamental of journeying and working with spirit helpers and teachers.  To prepare for this work bring a pillow and blanket for comfort, a bandana or scarf for an eye cover, and a hand drum or rattle if you have them.  Your body will be safe and comfortable so your mind is free to travel.  The morning session will be focused on the Lower World.  Following a break for lunch, the Upper World will be explored.  Suggested donation: $150.00.

Sunday, March 14, 2010   Leon Sproule will be available for individual counseling or healing sessions, utilizing his spirit helpers and special techniques to address your concerns.  $100.

It's the Little Things That Make a Difference

Imagine what your gift of an office, kitchen or maintenance supply item might do to help our church! Hospitality (food, beverage, supplies) are always welcomed. Also, willing hands to help clean the church and grounds are needed. Thanks!

Community Service Project
Food To Go Packs for Homeless Ministry

To serve the homeless in our community we create  "food to go" packs that provide food for the next day. See the information table for ziploc bags and a page listing suggested items to put in the bag, as well as examples “food to go” bags assembled by Jim & Charlene Bryan. Pick up a bag and a list, shop on your own for the items and bring the filled bag back to church. During fellowship time we can pack multiple bags. This ongoing project is a needed service in our community for people coping with challenging circumstances. Knitters! Busy fingers can knit winter caps and hats now for the cold months that are coming for the Homeless Ministry.

DVDs are available featuring Margie performing the Hula. Cost: $10.00. Proceeds go to the Margie Hyatt Scholarship Fund.
